2007 Steelback Grand Prix Winners Trophies Provided By Johdan Stone Art

The recognition by the Grand Prix  organization that Johdan could provide both a  truly Canadian perspective and a unique artistic approach to their 2007 Grand Prix trophies, resulted in the outstanding trophies you see pictured here.

Although Dan had many ideas that would have been equally impressive ,the Toronto Grand Prix people had been extremely pleased with  his many creative interpretations of Canadian wildlife. This led them to ask for  both a Canadian bear and the most Canadian of symbols, the maple leaf, and carve them both  in Canadian soapstone.
